Overview:
The Manager, National Accounts On-Premise will be responsible for the national on-premise strategy, new program setup, inventory tracking, pricing management, advertising and promotional spend, annual planning, latest estimate process, compliance management, sales objectives, analytics, and managing the On-Premise team nationally.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction, and guidance for the National Accounts and On-Premise Operations within the organization
- Manage and coach direct reports in career progression and personal growth
- Establish the budget for National Accounts and independent accounts
- Lead the definition of the On-Premise account operations service strategy while working closely with suppliers and leadership while developing and executing against the strategy
- Lead the development of operational standards and ensure they are consistently uses across all accounts (e.g., tools, process, reports)
- Guide the identification of areas for process improvement and process automation
- Create and lead the process to drive the sharing of best practices across all accounts
- Oversee the process to maintain program specs (supplier information, account information, geographic information)
- Oversee the process to collect and maintain program compliance data as well as the process to provide compliance reporting
Additional Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the process to maintain National accounts pricing catalog (items, accounts geography, pricing)
- Oversee the process to monitor the inventory level for items on programs and identify product transfers for out of stock items
- Oversee new EDI authorization list, and the resolution of EDI issues
- Define the client service strategy
- Build and maintain relationships and a standard way of working with the National Accounts Sales & Customers
- Ensure the department meets client satisfaction objectives
- Build out Request for Proposal (RFP) calendar and priorities by supplier to build national On-Premise strategy
- Manage On-Premise team to ensure on budget quarterly vs supplier budgets
- Build Quarterly Objectives for the On-Premise team
- Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and five seven years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
- Experience in sales / or support in Wine & Spirits or Consumer Goods industries
- Experience managing a team with at least 4 direct reports
- Experience in beverage alcohol industry in Canada
- Ability to influence decisionmakers in a matrix environment
- Strong communication skills written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills
Physical Demands:
- Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
- Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
