  • At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 13 days per week onsite, while other days will be remote. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of onsite and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview._


How you'll succeed- Understanding and Documenting Requirements - Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs.

Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.- Solution Design - Build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements.

Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance. Organization - Oversee requests from various stakeholders and thoughtfully create and/or edit a wide variety of presentation and communication materials (e.g. key messages, communication plans, tactical deliverables, presentations etc.)- Communication - Superior interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to convey or present factual and conceptual information on issues which require detailed explanation and interpretation.- Production Support - Conduct investigation and provide resolution (with help of developers when needed) for issues brought up by business


Who you are- You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field, and you've spent at least 3 years in a BSC role leading projects and designing solutions.

It's an asset if you have experience with Agile methodologies, and Application and/or Architecture Development.- You have knowledge of financial markets including Stock, Option, Fixed Income and Mutual Funds.- You have working knowledge of financial product concepts and calculations (bond amortization, accrued income, expected income, yields).- You're driven by collective success.
