What you will do:


The REEP Financial Coordinator is responsible for preparing financial reporting, financial tracking and providing administrative support to the Real Estate Education Program (REEP).

The incumbent reports to the Operations Manager, REEP and works closely with the Financial & Planning Manager, Financial Services and Planning to handle multiple financial and budgetary responsibilities and solve complex problems in a fast paced and challenging academic environment.

The incumbent is responsible for monitoring, reviewing and reporting on the business and financial operations of all the REEP revenues and expenses accounts.


  • The incumbent will deal with confidential financial reporting information on a regular basis and will display tact, discretion, and diplomacy at all times. Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of accuracy are required to provide a variety of reports and information designed to support the Real Estate Education Program in managing their operations and finances. This role will also require the incumbent to travel between campuses and overtime or working over the weekend is required to meet the deadline of financial reporting.
Duties for the REEP Financial Coordinator position include, but are not limited to:


  • Program partner biweekly payment processing, monthly program net remittance processing, purchasing, expense processing, program related revenue reporting, budgetary reporting
  • Accounts receivable and Accounts payable processes
  • Reconciliation of vendor statements and clearing accounts and generation of journal entries as required
  • Ensuring that internal financial controls are followed. Generation and reconciliation of daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly and adhoc reporting as required to effectively administer the financial requirements of the Program
  • Assists with month end and year end tasks, including preparing and processing journal entries, as well as analyzing and reconciling various general ledger accounts
  • Undertake responsibility for special assignments and projects as assigned by the Operations Manager
