Position Summary


Working under the Project Manager and Lead AI Scientist, the Research Administrative coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day administrative activities regarding research projects and schedules for the AI department.

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


Duties

  • Interacts with both internal and external contacts primarily for the purposes of exchanging information and resolving problems within scope of authority.
  • Demonstrates excellent competency in written and verbal communications.
  • Acts as the resource person to the department on all office administrative matters. Communicates, interprets and trains others on departmental policies. Develops internal procedures. Adapts communication to different audiences using discretion and judgment. Exercises discretion in handling confidential division/corporate department information.
  • Internal contacts: UHN staff across all levels and functions including senior leaders.
  • Proactive and independent management of calendar using diplomacy given nature of contacts such as internal and external senior leaders and prioritization of competing demands.
  • Plan and coordinate for assigned personnel attending conferences and offsite events by organizing travel arrangements, accommodations, event registration, preparation of meeting materials and submission of expense reports.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of senior administrative experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Community College Diploma in General or Medical Office or equivalent Administration. Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Letter of Reference
  • Proficiency using outlook, teams, zoom, and other organization management tools
