Jim Pattison Chrysler Jeep Dodge has a new opportunity for a Parts Manager to join our team


Job Description Summary:


Reporting to the General Manager, you will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.

As a Parts Manager you must be self-motivated, high energy, a team player and results-oriented with a proven track customer service excellence.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and reduce aging inventory and order to maximize discounts and bonuses.
  • Plans, implements and attains parts department objectives and goals.
  • Promptly meet and greet parts customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Listen to customers' reasons for requesting certain parts and accessories.
  • Provide accurate quotes for all parts or accessories recommended.
  • Efficiently provide parts to technicians for vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Contact potential new wholesale customers and ask for business.
  • Complete month end reports and duties in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure invoices are accurate, paid and closed.
  • Prioritizing customer satisfaction by ensuring personnel are responsive, courteous and respectful while working to increase parts sales.
  • Attend training courses as directed by management.

Experience:


  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager.
  • Previous brand experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Automotive parts experience is essential.
  • Forward facing customer service experience an asset.
  • Experience with ordering, tracking and stocking required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Technical Skills:


  • Experience with DMS software such as Reynolds (ERA), CDK, and or PBS an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and realistic time management skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with ease.
