Your Role and Responsibilities


You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value.

You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills, work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.


Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Carry out the analysis and the planning related to the implementation and upgrading of our Fircosoft (Lexis Nexis) software packages.
  • Help with onboarding new clients.
  • Write and maintain the documentation required for the administration and operations of servers and technical solutions.
  • Organize and deliver training sessions to customers and employees of IBM. Actively participate in security tightening initiatives issued by the internal security team;
  • Participate in tests as well as failovers in the event of Disaster recovery
  • Stay up to date with technological developments through continuing education according to Fircosoft requirements.
  • Participate in the production of SWIFT / Firco components on the environments of IBM customers according to the company's good change practices.
This role can be performed from Ontario and Quebe

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • University degree in computer science or other relevant field of study;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Fircosoft continuity, Fircosoft filter, Firco Multilist manager, Firco Multilaws
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Windows and Unix
  • Knowledge of the banking sector and SWIFT (asset)
  • Autonomy, leadership, problem solving, team spirit and the ability to work under pressure;
  • Be interested in cloud projects, especially participate in Swift migration projects in the cloud;
  • Be interested in learning about new IBM products.
  • A clear credit check is a requirement for this role
