Reporting to the Parts Manager, the successful incumbent will load/unload a company delivery truck with specified parts, pick up and deliver these parts to customers, complete associated paperwork, and uphold the appearance of the truck. S/He will also assist in the warehouse with picking, shipping, receiving, and clean up during delivery downtime.

Responsibilities

Consolidates orders going to same location and packages for shipping. Loads and unloads couriers and delivery trucks from other branches
Complete associated paperwork
Complete truck maintenance checks and report any wear or damage for repair
Picks parts based on computer generated pick ticket. Places completed orders in branch bins or customer direct deliver section of warehouse.
Assist with other warehouse tasks during delivery downtime

Qualifications

2 years of work experience, preferably in a related role
1 year of city delivery experience
Ability to drive a 1⁄2 or 3 ton truck
Valid driver's license, with clean abstract
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to life/carry 80 pounds without assistance
Basic computer experience with ability to learn inhouse system
Forklift license or ability to achieve
Ability to be exposed to weather conditions off/on throughout the day, yearround
Ability to climb ladders preferred
Knowledge of heavyduty truck/trailer parts an asset
Knowledge of Karmak computer system an asset
