Overview


The Inside Sales role will drive revenue growth and at times provide support to the Sales Team and Sales Manager.

This role will be focused on developing existing and prospective Metro customers to ensure that the department can meet its growth targets.

The Inside Sales role will be both service & equipment focused while effectively pursuing and acquiring new business opportunities.

This role is expected to help generate and increase speed to revenue while driving new opportunities for the sales team.


Responsibilities

  • Represent Metro in a positive and professional manner daily. Provide Super Service.
  • Provide price list sales quoting for national accounts as well as direct residential.
  • Be a sales support for outside reps.
  • Be the backup for quote creation.
  • Manage the "To Be Quotes" and "Open Quotes" queues to established targets.
  • Have a direct responsibility for medium to high effort rental renewals with multisite customers.
  • Escalate issues/concerns to Outside Sales as required.
  • Manage the Rental Portfolio.
  • Responsible for RFP Quotations for Commercial, Residential and Powerwash/Deodorizer teams.
  • Assist with departmental strategy to Budget/KPI Targets for Commercial, Residential and Powerwash/Deodorizer teams.
  • Assist with marketing/tradeshows for all industries.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • At least 23 years of experience in sales, preferable in an inside sales environment. (HUNTER)
  • Proficient in identifying and researching potential customers.
  • Experience and confidence in making cold calls to potential customers.
  • Ability to generate leads through various channels.
  • Knowledge of varying sales methodologies.
  • Experience with customer relationship management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with prospects.
  • Strong negotiation abilities to close deals and secure contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • High level of self motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Focused on understanding and meeting customer needs and building longterm relationships.
