Description
We are looking for an intermediate QA with a strong background in Python, HIVE, HUE and Zepplin.

The consultant will join a small team of testers, already working, some are in India.

The main 3-5 responsibilities of this QA Tester:

  • Participating in agile ceremonies from a Quality Engineering perspective, planning and executing data testing, reporting/managing defects, collaborating with dev/designers/engineers, issuing Test Report(s)
The main 3-5 technologies of the resource?

  • HIVE, HUE, Zeppelin, Enterprise Data Warehouse


Critical Skills or Must Haves? - PyETL (basic Python, Sourcetree, Jenkins) and/or Tosca, complex SQL/HIVE query skills, knowledge of HIVE tables, querying tools (i.e.

HUE, Zeppelin/Sagemaker, Trino), qTest.


Job Type:
Temporary

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
$50.00-$60.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON M5J 0B6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- quality assurance: 5 years (required)

  • HIVE: 4 years (required)
  • HUE: 2 years (required)
  • Zepplin: 2 years (required)
