As our Accounting Analyst, you would support the Assistant Controller and Controller in the completion of monthly and year-end processing, as well as financial statement preparation.

Position Overview:

-
Analyze and reconcile financial statements, cost variances, GL accounts
:

Perform accruals for
preparation of consolidated financial statements.
Assist in the
preparation of financial statements with respect to Joint Venture Companies

Maintain and reconcile capital asset and capital lease schedules.
Investigate and
provide feedback on accounting irregularities and suggest solutions.
Provide
support to business units and accounting staff along with assisting with financial reporting or analysis as required.

Qualifications Needed:

-
Enrolled or completion of a certified accounting program or equivalent combined level of education and minimum of 2 years progressive accounting experience
:

High
attention to detail and highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
Proficient knowledge of MS Office, strong computer skills and experience with various account software packages.
