PORTER - Part Time Seasonal




REPORTS TO:
FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER

Best Western Plus Guildwood Inn Sarnia

ADDRESS: 1400 Venetian Blvd. Point Edward, ON N7T 7W6


Summary:


We currently have a position available for a Porter who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do.

Our employees have the opportunity to shape our guests experience by providing exceptional knowledge and service in support of our world-renowned organization.


Responsibilities

  • Serve guest needs by providing exceptional Service.
  • Assist in setup of linen, glass, silver and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order.
  • Breakdown, clean and setup of tables, buffets and food stations.
  • Help maintain orderly department as directed by the Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Other tasks may be assigned

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:


  • Must be able to work all shifts including, AM's, PM's, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Minimum two years of related experience in similar establishment.
  • Must have a strong F&B knowledge.
  • Able to stand and walk up to 8 hours.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
