_What you will do in this role_

  • Liaise with the Information Technology Services group on matters related to all supported apps and Infrastructure Management Systems.
  • Provides technical support to all staff using an Enterprise Asset Management tool and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in addition to software developed by the IMT Group.
  • Support in reviewing and analyzing CMMS requirements for various divisions within Public Works.
  • Maintain modules within the HANSEN database CMMS System.
  • Liaise with external clients, contractors, software developers on known and found issues.
  • Provide coverage and support and liaises with our Human Resources and Payroll partners.

  • Successful completion of a degree/diploma in Computer Science/IT/Engineering/Business Administration with 3 years of experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Strong communication skills when interacting with Internal and External client base.
  • Project coordination skills for programs and events. Ability to obtain consensus and influence the decision making of others.
  • Use of technical or professional skills to work together with others to investigate problems and explore alternative solutions in order to attain specific goals.

  • Practiced knowledge of Asset management in a Public Works environment.
  • Ability to build and use SQL quires.
  • Report Development in Crystal 9 / Report Development in Cognos software
  • Use of an EAM system and or use of IBM
  • Maximo Application an asset
  • Expert knowledge of Hansen an asset.
  • Financial background an asset.

Work Mode & Job Location:
In this role you will have the ability to work remotely and attend on-site when required based on operational requirements at the 2 Copper Road
_ _worksite. The frequency of on-site activities may vary on a weekly basis and based on operational requirements. Your remote work location must be located within the province of Ontario.


Hours of Work:35 hours per week.
