About the Opportunity:
Reporting to and in collaboration with the Health Services Manager/Site Lead, the Assistant Manager participates in the planning and provision of care and identifies and acts upon issues that have potential or actual impact on patient, client, or resident care.
The Assistant Manager acts as a role model and patient/client/ resident care advocate and exhibits leadership and team building and skills.
The Assistant Manager demonstrates effective communication and organizational skills and acts as a resource for all team members to ensure quality care.
The Assistant Manager is responsible to develop and maintain a working environment that supports the delivery of high-quality effective care and caring.
The Assistant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the clinical care delivery.About You:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Must be registered with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
- Five (5) years of relevant clinical experience, at least one year in a rural setting preferred
- Two years of experience in a supervisory, leadership and/or management role preferred
- Completion of or willingness to complete a leadership development program
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours:
- Permanent, Full-Time position; 75 hours biweekly
Compensation and Incentives:
$ $50.04 Hourly
