About The Opportunity
The Canadian Emerging Markets DVP Role provides a unique opportunity to lead Sales Reps and Account Executives apart of a top achieving business unit and the fastest growing organization within Ceridian sales.
This group focuses on delivering best of breed HCM solutions to Emerging Markets and is looking for a leader who can guide their sales reps to drive new business and provide an environment to excel.
The District Vice President directs and oversees sales activity and is responsible for district financials to include achieving sales quota, expense budgets, and sales forecasts.
In addition, as part of the Sales management team, the DVP actively participates to help develop and implement various process improvements, employee development, and other initiatives.
What You'll Get To Do- Revenue Generation
- Directs and leads all sales activities within assigned territory or area of responsibility
- Contributes to, and implements, agreed upon tactical sales strategies and marketing initiatives
- Maximizes, within current sales rules of engagement, the sales performance within assigned territory through meeting and exceeding sales quotas and objectives
- Ensures a highly effective sales management process is in use
- Drives qualification and sales management activities according to the current sales process
- Ensures new prospects are being added to the pipeline on a consistent basis
- Provides required management information e.g. forecasting, budgeting
- Ensure teams effectively utilize sales force automation tools
- Supports direct reports in deal strategy and contract negotiations
- Develops key executive relationships with high value clients in the district
- Employee Recruitment, Development & Retention
- Recruits, trains and develops a sales team with skills and experience aligned to meet Ceridian's needs and the market
- Sets clear expectations for all direct reports and manages performance per stated guidelines
- Analyzes activity and results to determine actions needed to improve individual and team performance
- Inspects that Ceridian values and policies are being followed
- Builds and maintains product and industry expertise by completing product certifications and participating as a certifier
- Supports other necessary corporate activities to achieve business goals, such as marketing initiatives, development of sales strategies, and departmental planning

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 10 years sales experience
- 3+ years proven success in a sales leadership role
- Indepth knowledge of and proficiency in selling HCM related solutions
- In depth knowledge of and proficiency in selling complex technologyrelated solutions
- Proven ability to execute business objectives, establish C level relationships, and lead with influence
- Strong business acumen, high energy and integrity, sense of urgency, work ethic and drive for results are required
- Valid driver's license
