Payroll Administrative Assistant - Winnipeg, Canada - SRG Security Resource Group Inc.

Summary:
Duties:
- Responsible for payroll and billing
- Administer employee HR and payroll files and systems
- Administer licensing of security employees
- Responsible to issue uniforms and track uniform inventory
- Coordinate office supply orders and office supply inventory
- Greet customers, clients and employees in a professional and welcoming manner
- Administer shortterm disability, long term disability, RRSP plan, workers compensation claims and coordinate return to work initiatives
- Scheduling and general administration of Winnipeg office
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail
- Performs other tasks and duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience using HR software (ADP or Similar)
- College diploma or University degree in business administration or similar field
- 1 to 2 years related experience in an administrative function
- Demonstrated ability in dealing with confidential information and situations
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills; Selfinitiating, well organized, problem solver, with ability to multitask
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Team player that establishes and maintains strong working relationships
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including handling interactions with guests and colleagues
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Detailoriented, with a focus on accuracy
- Strong organizational skills
Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Salary:
$40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
Experience:
Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
