Responsibilities:


  • Lives Forbes Bros. value of WE WORK SAFE & never compromising on safety in all aspects of our every day
  • Create, update, and maintain various spreadsheets, databases, and filing systems
  • Generating reports on health status of fleets in addition to other ad hoc reporting
  • Accurately track and maintain fleet asset information in a timely manner
  • Actively analyzes for gaps in vehicle and equipment related information and data to correct discrepancies
  • Actively participate in the Fleet group in contributing to ongoing development and improvement of the Fleet Services program
  • Enter and maintain data and documentation in system asset acquisition, asset disposal, asset transfers and equipment files
  • Efficiently enter and process purchase orders/invoices and work orders as required
  • Maintain driver and equipment filing for new hires and/or departures
  • Plan, prepare and schedule and track routine inspections
  • Regularly reviewing nonreporting assets with a followup plan and have them fixed as needed
  • Provide support and coverage for Fleet Administrators as required
  • Ensuring compliance with Forbes policies, procedures, and core beliefs
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For:


  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in similar field with a basic understanding of commercial vehicle regulations
  • High School Diploma and/or relevant work experience
  • Exposure to fleet or equipment management, an asset
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision in a fastpaced environment leveraging excellence in time management
  • Willingness to travel as required for training purposes
  • Strong written, oral communication skills and interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Employment is contingent upon presenting a valid Driver's License and an acceptable drivers abstract
