Protenergy Natural Foods Corp.

is a rapidly growing and profitable mid-size company specializing in the manufacturing of aseptically packaged natural food and beverage products.

Our Environment:
Protenergy Natural Foods maintains a 24 hour 7 days per week continental shift rotational environment. Shifts are 12 hours, from 7am to 7:30pm (days) or 7:00pm to 7:30am (nights). We maintain a 2-3 rotation, where in fourteen calendar days you will work a total of seven where every other weekend is a long weekend

Position Summary:
Treehouse Foods has an immediate opening for a Filler Operator Line Lead at its Richmond Hill facility.

This position will be responsible for operating the filler equipment, performing package integrity checks of the broth cartons and support the quality system to ensure product safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Complies with good manufacturing practices
Maintains accurate records (i.e. chart recorders)
Supports quality system
Maintains communication within production team member ensuring smooth shift transitions, etc.
Support technical in appropriate maintenance activities
Monitors raw materials, supplies to ensure efficient production
Ensure adequate supply of packaging materials and communicate resource requirements for replenishment
Determine acceptable quality ranges on packaging
Coordinate communication between RPS Operator and DE Operators
Participate, and sometimes lead, daily operations meetings
Responsible for startup of filler.
Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of product.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
Collect required samples needed for QA testing.
Ensure that the proper packaging materials are used for each product being produced.
Ability to perform filler changeovers in a safe and efficient manner.
Prepare equipment for next run to include size changes as needed.
Complete cleaning checklist once line has completed run.
Sanitation of equipment
Perform package integrity testing

Minimum Requirements:

Postsecondary or equivalent experience required
35 years manufacturing related experience
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
Fluency in English both oral and written
