    Adult Support Workers at BACI support people to lead a good life. This role works with people to explore dreams and passions providing opportunities for people to develop relationships, find places of belonging in community, have a home they view as a haven and support people to work towards a balanced life which is healthy and safe.

    Position: Temporary FT Residence Support Worker (ending March 20, 2025)

    Location: Burnaby, BC

    SALARY: $ $29.76

    Hours: 37.5 hours/week Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-3:30PM

    Responsibilities:

  • Support people in a shared-living home to have positive control of their home and to be active members of their community
  • Ensuring that individuals are connected to friends and family.
  • Providing individuals with the opportunity to make meaningful choices
  • Encouraging and recognizing individuals' contributions
  • Ensuring that individuals are safe and to promote their health and well-being
  • Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a Community College with an appropriate diploma or certificate in Human Services OR an equivalent of education and experience.
  • Current First Aid & CPR, NCI training (both provided by BACI)
  • TB screening,
  • valid unrestricted BC Class 5 Drivers License required
