Job Overview
The Flow manager will support the Production Manager and various Department Supervisors/leaders.

The Flow Manager is instrumental in the smooth running of all production's projects, including planning, scheduling, coordinating and/or monitoring the flow of products through the complete production cycle.

The manager is focused on the details and the accurate flow of information through all departments. The manager should thrive under pressure, display strong multitasking skills, work well in a team environment and independently.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work with Production manager to address production issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
  • Review production schedules to ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
  • Coordinate with various departments on any deficient/missing items for jobs and see they are expedited.
  • Coordinate with various departments on the efficiency of all machines.
  • Monitor day to day inventory levels to ensure that materials are available to meet production requirements.
  • Ensure that all safety requirements are met in all manufacturing processes and ensuing all employees are following Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Consistently evaluating the shop floor processes and recommending changes when appropriate
  • Creating and Maintaining SOP's
  • Maintaining a clean and wellorganized shop floor and keeping employees accountable for the same standards.
  • Responsible for interviewing and hiring all new staff in the Flow Managers department.
  • Responsible for accurately maintaining employee timecards and submitting them to payroll biweekly.
  • Will be required to assist with training new employees on various production line stations as well as performance review and evaluations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or higher
  • 3+ years of extensive management/leadership experience
  • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Automation Professional (CAP), Certified Production Technician (CPT), Certified Manufacturing Technologist (CMfgT) (Preferred, not required)
  • Strong multitasking ability
  • Ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and independence in carrying out multiple tasks, strong critical thinking, creativity and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to respond to a diversity of requests.
  • Knowledge of production and manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of technology, has knowledge of the cabinetry business (preference)
  • Able to work under pressure with conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines while maintaining a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Able to make decisions and refer upwards when required in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.

- $25-$35/hr depending on experience

$25.00-$35.00 per hour
