Junior/Assistant EVC Program Manager - Job description
The Junior/Assistant EVC Program Manager will focus on supporting reporting, milestone billing, record management, solicitation and data management activities.

Programming activities will be validated year over year for accuracy and alignment with client requirement, changes to capital plan allocation and priorities.

Break in projects will be identified to quick execution given capital plan favorability during the execution year.


JOB SUMMARY


The purpose of this position is to support the electric vehicle charging program implementation, including planning, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and administrative oversight of EV Charging installations across a large portfolio of properties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Ensure that industry standards and best practices are applied to drive successful implementation of end-to-end EV charging program for the portfolio.

Supports program-level project implementation via project managers, and provides program-side issue resolution

Facilitates multiparty client and stakeholder discussions to ensure successful project development and implementation across owned, leased and managed sites

Coordinates high level logistics for equipment to geographically diverse client sites in coordination with local staff

Initiates ad hoc EV charging deployments in response to site-specific client needs

Monitors and generates reporting on EV infrastructure usage, program budget, and project completion.

Provides education and technical support to operations staff and/or client staff to ensure EVC operations and maintenance as per standards and recommended guidelines

Other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Potential supervision of support staff for EV charging program.

Provides informal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Plans and monitors appropriate resourcing levels based on scoping and program growth. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Minimum of three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent mix of education and training.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or Trade Area Systems (TAS) experience preferred

2+ years of experience in the electric vehicle charging sector preferred

Experience with various utilities and incentive programs

Research analyst or policy experience a plus

Demonstrated experience in strategic problem solving, business analysis and insights generation, and cross-functional collaboration

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)


COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including internal and external stakeholder engagement. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.


FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts financial analysis.


REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Knowledge of working with mechanical/HVAC and electrical/automation systems including BAS. Experience with energy utilities and energy management. Carbon reporting experience or training would be beneficial.


SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.


SECURITY CLEARANCE
This role requires Enhanced Reliability Status, to be conducted via 3rd party at start of employment.
