Your day as an Accounting Assistant/Receptionist will consist of:

  • Producing the daily cash report;
  • Preparing and posting payables, invoices & journal entries;
  • Processing and issuing receipts for customer transactions;
  • Operating a multiline telephone system; taking detailed messages and remitting them as quickly as possible;
  • Greeting customers, questioning the reason for their visit and directing them accordingly;
  • Entering customer tracking information and preparing weekly reports on potential customers for the managers;
  • Updating records in the system;
  • Providing administrative support to the Accounting, Sales & Service Departments, when needed;
  • Forwarding mail to proper departments;
  • Producing reports, filing and photocopying documents;
  • Responsible for offering & preparing beverages for customers;
  • Stocking new vehicle inventory;
  • Maintaining courtesy vehicle files in order to benefit from manufacturing programs;
  • Maintaining the proper inventory levels for items offered in the Bistro area (coffee, milk, water and other products) to prepare the following order;
  • Ensure cleanliness and functionality of the Bistro area at all times.

Requirements:


  • Secondary (high) school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in a similar function
    OR Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Secretarial;
  • Bilingualism (French and English);
  • Computer literate with proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Knowledge of CDK Dealer Management System, an asset.
  • Customerservice oriented;
  • Ability to relate to customers;
  • Excellent oral and written communication;
  • Ability to work in a team and manage frequent interruptions;
  • Versatility, discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality;
  • Sense of responsibility and organization;
  • Management of priorities, autonomy, initiative and judgment;

Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time


Salary:
$19.00-$21.00 per hour
