Education:
High School Diploma, Estimating Certificate

Experience:
Experience in construction estimating considered an asset

Duties and responsibilities:

Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and job requirements
Prepare bid packages and submit proposals to clients
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
Maintain accurate records of estimates, contracts, change orders, and other projectrelated documents
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates
Attend site meetings as required
Request pricing from the manufacturers, suppliers, sub contactors, etc.
Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide updates as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

2+ years experience in the construction field, preferably with commercial roofing, below grade waterproofing, and metal cladding/paneling (complete building envelope)
Technology/computer skills considered an asset printing documents, scanning files, keeping project files organized, creating documents and forms
Previous experience with AutoCAD 2D & 3D considered an asset
Graduate from engineering, architectural or construction management program is an asset

Salary:
$40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
