What the job is all about:

  • Define, develop, implement, and manage policies, standards, and procedures that mitigate risk and maximize security, service availability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Maintaining the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing and delivering information technology projects.
  • Define and set into action the migration of core IT services from onprem virtual systems to cloud hosted systems.
  • Accountable to establish strong collaborative relationships with various leaders and functional teams across the organization
  • Ensure systems and processes are compliant with data privacy and other regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers globally to ensure efficient and costeffective acquisition of technology solutions.
  • Provide Project Management for core infrastructure projects to ensure timelines and budget are maintained.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity exercises.
  • Partner with Corporate IT Security in vulnerability remediation program.
  • Provides input to overall IT budget for hardware, software and subscription related expenses.
  • Responsible for the overall hiring, motivation, and management of the direct reports in the team including recruitment, mentoring, coaching, evaluating team members and delivering performance reviews while driving a culture of performance.

Who you are:


  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent related experience
  • Deep understanding of firewalls, networks, storage, virtualization, AWS, Azure, backup & recovery planning, and vulnerability remediation in a hybrid IT environment.
  • Awareness of current global data privacy regulations and tools
  • Experience with Change Management best practices
  • Understanding of DC Operations both physical and logical an asset
  • Knowledge of best practices and standards across the IT organization
  • Experience in building and delivering IT related strategies
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to translate clearly from a deep technical level to nontechnical team members.
  • Strong conflict management and negotiating skills.
  • Superior analytical, evaluation, and problemsolving abilities.
  • 810yrs of IT people and technical leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of risk management concepts
  • Experience with IT Operations and IT Administration
  • Current understanding of emerging threats and countermeasures
  • Experience operating in a R&D and Manufacturing environment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, a reliable vehicle is a must.
  • Travel as required.
  • Valid Passport
