Responsibilities:


  • Reconcile Broker Statements for COD accounts and Custody accounts
  • Reconcile and balance Control Accounts with larger and more complex transactions;
  • Respond to queries of mínimal to moderate complexity;
  • Evaluate and resolve matters that fall beyond existing practice standards and procedures;
  • Liaise with Exchanges & Service Bureaus;
  • Communicate trade adjustments with Trader's, IA's (or Assistants) and support staff in a timely and professional manner;
  • Monitor "as of transactions" pre settlement;
  • Update statistics;
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

years of related industry experience;

  • Detail oriented, with superior analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong data entry skills; accuracy and efficiency is required;
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel (Macros) and Outlook;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
  • Ability to be selfmotivated and work effectively under pressure;
  • Working knowledge of Trading Blotters, Clearing and Reconciliation Reports an asset;
  • Knowledge of Dataphile system, CDS and DTC an asset.
  • Knowledge of Derivatives clearing an asset
