Description

Working in a team environment, employees are expected to work safely and efficiently while complying with all plant safety programs.


Nature and Scope:


Under the guidance of the Supervisor, the Summer Student perform duties such as packaging Specialty products, performing housekeeping duties inside and outside the plant, and supporting operators as needed.

Self motivated individuals with an ability to work independently with mínimal supervision is preferred. Exercise personal safety, promote and enforce safety among crew members. This position could be working in the Roll Form or Specialty departments depending on the needs of the business. This position will end on September 1, 2023.


Requirements:


  • High School diploma and currently enrolled or returning to postsecondary school in the fall.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Demonstrates problemsolving skills and the ability to work as a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be a people and resultsoriented individual who incorporates and emphasizes safety and quality in all aspects of the daily work environment
