The Prep Montessori Daycare, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is looking for part-time and full-time
Early Childhood Educator (ECE II) Summer Students and Practicum Students to be teaching assistant in our Early Preschool and Preschool Program.


You will be a part of a dynamic group of educators comprising of Early Childhood Educators (II & III), Experienced Montessori Teachers, and Trained Child Care Assistants.


Your job description is to:


  • Provide a warm, caring and safe environment for all the children in your care
  • Follow all the policies and procedures of The Prep
  • Follow instructions set out by your Supervisor, and Head Teacher.
  • Communicate with parents & colleagues in person, over the phone, and via an app
  • Attend monthly staff meetings
  • Complete daily cleaning duties as assigned

You will take direction from and report to:

  • Your Supervisor, and Head Teacher

You must posses:


  • Proof that you are currently enrolled in an ECE II program in Manitoba
  • A Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • A Clean Criminal Record Check
  • A Clean Child Abuse Registry Check

The wage for this position is
:$16 an hour.

If you are not an ECE II student, you will not be considered for this position, however we do recommend you keep your eye out for MACTE, AMI, ECE II and CCA postings in the future.
