Reporting to the Deputy Minister, you will provide strategic leadership of the department's economic development plan through policy development, program delivery and grant management that help create jobs and diversify Alberta's economy.
Your division will focus on providing analysis, developing policy, delivering small business and regional and Northern Alberta industry client focused programs and lead significant stakeholder engagement.
You will lead the establishment of stakeholder networks and connections to facilitate the growth of regional and Northern Alberta programs, grants and incentives for business, communities and industry sectors that contribute to the economy.
Qualifications:
As an influential and highly credible leader, your career will include extensive related executive management experience.
You have experience in leading programs for small business and industry and understand the challenges for economic growth in Northern Alberta.
You have demonstrated strengths in leading strategic policy, leading in a political environment, grant management and program delivery, and enhancing stakeholder relationships.
Your strong communication skills enable you to lead projects and work collaboratively with stakeholders in achieving outcomes. A related degree is preferred.Salary:
$5,946.59 to $7,804.23 bi-weekly. ($155,206 - $203,690 / year)
