Triple M Metal is looking for a Team Member (General Labourer) at our 1226 Bingham Rd Minden, ON location. As the Team Member, you will be expected to:
- Inspect incoming materials, removing non-conforming materials or items of zero values
- Sort and deposit material into assigned location
- Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing all nonconforming material
- Identify contaminated bales and prevents shipment of material that does not meet agreed upon specifications and arranges for remedial action
- Must be able to identify majority material types based on physical characteristics.
- Operate counterbalance forklift, loader, and skid steer in accordance with operation policies and procedures ensuring efficient material movement
- Unloading materials from trailers
- Sorting large or over size materials with skid steer
- Record and report all equipment damage and deficiencies to supervisor ensuring equipment is maintained in accordance with manufactures specifications
- Be prepared to work outdoors for sorting of wire in all seasons
- Other duties as assigned
When:
- Day Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Occasional work on Saturdays
- 1 year of experience working in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment
- 1 year of experience operating forklift or skidsteer (bobcat), preferred but not required
