Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Analyst will report to the Director, COE Demand Planning, their responsibilities are as follows:

  • Review and analyze parts usage from HWO, CWOs, and LWOs:
  • Regularly analyze parts usage data from Heavy Work Orders (HWOs), Component Work Orders (CWOs), and Line Work Orders (LWOs).
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in parts consumption, ensuring accurate push/hold parts demand signals are passed on to the Supply Chain team
  • Provide proactive feedback and recommendations to the supply chain team regarding minimum and maximum inventory levels based on usage analysis.
  • Generate and maintain the Annual Parts Demand Model:
  • Utilize statistical forecasting methods, including the Poisson process and other relevant techniques, to predict parts demand based on flight hours for the A4, Alpha Jet, Learjet, and future fleet types.
  • Continuously update and refine the demand model to ensure accuracy by maintaining annual flight hour forecasts provided by program managers and/or business unit owners
  • Provide analysis for the Quarterly Min/Max and Parts Demand Meeting:
  • Prepare comprehensive analysis reports for the Quarterly Min/Max and Parts Demand Meeting.
  • Present findings, insights, and recommendations based on historical data, forecasting models, and usage analysis.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop inventory strategies, optimize stocking levels, and improve overall parts management efficiency.
  • Track and maintain accuracy of part's MTBFs:
  • Collaborate with the reliability analyst to monitor and validate the Mean Time Between Failures (MTBFs) for various parts and components.
  • Identify and investigate any abnormal parts usage patterns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with Parts Planners, Fleet Managers, and AMO:
  • Collaborate with Parts Planners, Fleet Managers, and the Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO) to standardize planned materials.
  • Facilitate the kitting process for repeatable tasks within Operations or internal repair stations, ensuring efficient and consistent material planning in RAMCO
  • Assist in documenting Processes and Work Instructions in the Top Aces Management System (TAMS)

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering;
  • Minimum of 15 years of work experience (aviation, OEM or production environment background and asset).
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of C++, VBA or Python programming language.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of PowerBI, PowerAutomate, SharePoint and MS Office
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of prompt engineering using Generative Pre-Trained Transformers (GPT) (example: ChatGPT)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French, to effectively communicate with internal and external customers located across Canada as well as Internationally.
  • Demonstrates and has an ability to perform all work in support of our Corporate Values of Excellence, Service, Integrity and Together

Security Clearance Requirements/ CGP / ITAR:
Position requires the ability to obtain a positive security assessment with Controlled Goods Program
