Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for a Full-time Security Guard in Cornwall, Ontario.

SHIFT:

SUNDAY - THURSDAY
**Please Note: You must be able to work any shift between the hours of 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Example 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Enforce regulations of the establishments.
Visitor Access Control.
Maintain order, follow and adhere to post orders.
Use telecommunications (i.e. twoway radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems).
Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
Monitor security cameras.
Operate security control room equipment.
Patrolling.
Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
Report writing.

Qualifications, Required License, or Certification:

Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
CPR Level C Certified.
Must have a valid Ontario Driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
Must be available to do shift work: Afternoon, nights & weekends.
Must drive (own vehicle).
Good communication.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Professional work ethics.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs sitespecific.
Excellent Customer Service.
