Postdoctoral position with ArGan'sLab

Pre-requisite:

Applicants will have obtained a PhD in Structural bioinformatics and computational chemistry within the past 5 years.


Required Skills:


  • Demonstrated experience in advanced molecular simulation methods including classical molecular dynamics and enhanced-sampling free energy methods (e.g., umbrella sampling, and metadynamics) are required.
  • Strong experience in various drug discovery strategies including ligand-based and structure
- based virtual screening is required.


  • Strong skills and experience in computational programming in python is required.
  • Previous experience in bioinformatics analyses, machine learning method development, and/or experimental protein biochemistry and binding assays would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple research projects and writing manuscripts.
  • Must be a good team player.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A cover letter

  • PDF copies of 2 key publications relevant to the position along with an accompanying document (~1 page) describing the applicant's contribution,
