Description

We are recruiting for a new home construction warranty service technician for a local residential home builder in the GTA.

Reporting to management, the new home construction warranty service technician will work on post possession occupied houses to repair and address homeowner warranty items and concerns.

• Communicate between homeowners, builder, designers, and sub-trades
• Address post possession homeowner concerns
• Conduct visual inspections on warranty issues
• Perform handson repairs and/or schedule subtrades as required
• Must be motivated selfstarter with great organizational skills, time management and demonstrated attention to detail
• Exceptional client service attitude with high ability to problem solve
• Good at drywall and paint repairs and touch ups
• Good working knowledge of the Ontario building code and Tarion Warranty
• Ability to work both independently and in group settings
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean drivers abstract
• Will need to be a strong communicator who can work under tight deadlines and physically challenging environment

• Similar position with 3+ years experience (preferred)
• Construction industry experience

• French not required

• Monday to Friday

• Secondary School (required)
