Tennis Canada also owns and operates the National Bank Open presented by Rogers in Toronto and Montréal (formerly Rogers Cup): two leading tournaments that bring the world's top players to Canada every summer.

In recent years, Canadian tennis has seen historic achievements with homegrown talents competing in Grand Slam finals and ascending to all-time high rankings—not to mention the fact that participation and interest in the sport is on the rise.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR? Mid-Level Graphic Designer**Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer in Toronto, the incumbent will oversee the graphic design of Tennis Canada's various tools and meet the specific needs of the federation's departments, including several elements for the National Bank Open presented by Rogers in Montréal and Toronto. The position may be based in the Toronto or Montréal office.

Here are some of the key responsibilities:

  • Develop material for the National Bank Open presented by Rogers marketing campaigns in Toronto and Montréal
  • Design advertising campaigns (Billie Jean King Cup, Davis Cup and other projects) and variations
  • Produce graphic projects (posters, brochures, corporate documents, web material) for different sectors (tennis development, corporate partnerships, ticketing, etc.)
  • Contribute to creative concepts for digital assets (eblasts, GIF, digital ads, social media content creative, etc.) on a daily basis
  • Adapt the signage for the National Bank Open presented by Rogers
  • Work in close collaboration with the graphic design team

WHO YOU ARE ?

  • 57 years' experience in a similar position
  • University or college degree in graphic design from a recognized institution
  • Adaptability and ability to learn quickly
  • Contribute original ideas for creative innovation
  • Ability to understand and interpret requests and briefs
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects an asset)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge of social media and digital content
  • Ability to work in a Mac environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills to oversee concurrent projects and attention to detail
  • Autonomy and flexibility
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and proactive team environment
  • Ability to communicate in French an asset
  • Strong conceptual skills, strong sense of design, layout and typography and broad thinking to offer a range of design solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Expert knowledge of the graphic production process
