We are looking for an Auto Insurance/Appointed Agent to provide sales and service to clients' changing insurance needs at our
Salt Spring Island office.

What you will do in the role:

Use superior communication skills to probe customers to determine current and future needs
Issues, renews, and/or reinstated Driver Licences, BC Identification Cards, and Photo Medical Service Cards
Research the best coverage for clients, using all known factors, including pricing, coverage, and claims service; recommend products based on this analysis
Provide quotes and explain the features, advantages, and benefits of all automobile coverages
Provide guidance and direction to customers with claims and adhere to established procedures to ensure timely reporting and followup
General Insurancerelated administrative duties

The successful applicant will possess:

A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office; previous experience using ICBC Policy Centre and insurance specific programs is an asset
An active level 1 general insurance license is an asset
Previous ICBC insurance and Driver's Licensing experience is an asset

Monday to Thursday, 8:00am 5:00pm
Permanent, Fulltime employment

Supplemental pay types:
