    Description

    What you'll do:

    As the Agro Sales Specialist, you will be the face of Central Plains Co-op within the communities we serve, delivering world-class customer service. You will:

  • Build and maintain relationships with current and future customers and promote the Co-op's services and products through a variety of channels.
  • Make recommendations on products, services, and programs to meet and exceed customer needs. This will also involve investigating potential challenges and offering solutions.
  • Be proactively involved in the business decision-making process of key customers.
  • Provide learning opportunities to customers that will provide value-added tools and resources to their business.
  • Stay up to date on current and future agricultural trends.
  • Create and implement strategies for growth opportunities and market development.
  • Assist with inventory management, ensuring inventory is in place to match demand.
  • Who you'll work with:

    The Team: You will report to the Landis Agro Supervisor and together you will provide our communities and customers with the best service and products.

    The Community: Small town life close to the big city Landis, SK is just over an hour from Saskatchewan's biggest city, easy for a quick weekend getaway. Landis has a great community, with a skating rink, community complex-curling rink facility, and a local restaurant.

    Who you are:

    You are passionate about Agriculture and making a difference in the community and you:

  • Have a degree or diploma in Agriculture or a combination of education and sales experience.
  • Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) of PAg designation or are willing to pursue the designation would be considered an asset. Assistance will be provided to pursue the designation.
  • Strong background in sales
  • You are honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in collaboration, building relationships, and value the perspectives of others.
