Here's What You'll Need:


  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, geology or other closely related technical degree
  • Demonstrated technical evaluation and writing skills
  • Professional environmental project experience, including permitting, conducting site investigations/characterizations, and subcontractor oversight at the project manager level (preferably in consulting)
  • Experience as a project manager dealing with all aspects of project delivery, including project budgets and schedule
  • Experience in developing, reviewing, and implementing field investigation work plans and quality assurance project plans
  • Experience developing winning proposals and successfully managing projects with respect to clients, contracts, stakeholders, scope, schedule, budget, diverse teams, quality, risk, change, and profit.
  • Specific training, knowledge, and experience necessary to identify goals and objectives, and develop, review, and implement various project delivery strategies and plans.
  • Proven organizational, communication, interpersonal, negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Experience in data compilation, coordinating reporting and field investigation activities, scope, budget and schedule preparation, field supervision, drilling, collecting samples (such as soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, and soil vapour), providing observations during fieldwork and reporting.
  • Provide oversight and supervision of subcontractors
  • Support field observations and data collection assignments.
  • Knowledgeable of Federal and Provincial/Territorial Environmental Acts and Regulations in Canada preferred.
  • Acquire and maintain appropriate safety training to conduct environmental contaminated sites work.

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

  • Professional Engineer or Geoscientist, or Project Management Professional (P.E., P.Geo, or PMP) Ontario designation or ability to obtain and maintain
  • Familiarity with provincial and federal regulations
  • Demonstrated track record in client relations and in positioning for, winning, and delivering successful projects in Ontario and the surrounding provinces
  • Located in either the Toronto or Kitchener areas
  • Valid Drivers License
