As a Project Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the efficient and effective execution of projects and operations within the organization.

Your primary focus will be on project management, process improvement, and business analysis, ensuring that teams meet their goals, deliverables, and deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards.

This role requires a strong combination of leadership, analytical skills, and strategic thinking to drive successful outcomes and continuous improvement.


  • Oversee daytoday operations, ensuring smooth and efficient business processes across the organization.
  • Analyze operational workflows and identify opportunities for improvement to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational performance and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure project success.
  • Lead, plan, and execute various projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Conduct thorough business analysis to identify business needs, requirements, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and translate them into clear and actionable requirements.
  • Provide recommendations for business process optimization and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure the team is adequately trained and equipped to perform their responsibilities effectively.
  • Communicate project updates, progress, and challenges to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between different teams and departments, promoting effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:


  • BSC Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial experience with minimum 5 years in Managerial role.
  • Project Management or BA certification as an asset
  • Understanding of Wärtsilä business, quality, and workplace safety is a plus.
