Job Description:


Reporting to Senior Manager, Strategic Insights & Analysis, this role will help drive and support TD Direct Investing's strategic client engagement and acquisition initiatives in analytical, process development, and execution capacities.

This role will primarily focus on providing data-driven insights and decision support to various business initiatives, acquiring data in support of such work, as well as helping to develop and execute robust processes and procedures.


Key accountabilities include:

  • Perform, leverage, and evolve DI's client segmentation to create and support targeted organic growth initiatives, client engagement tactics, and business value proposition enhancements
  • Lead organizational change and support various strategic initiatives, business process improvements, and runthebusiness workstreams
  • Problem structuring with a view to derive actionable insights to improve DI's business performance, client acquisition, client engagement, platform experience and products / services
  • Stakeholder management to manage intake of new problem statements and proactive identification of potential opportunities. Prioritization of requests coming from stakeholders by quickly assessing business benefits vs complexity and wellstructured & timely communication to stakeholders.
  • Lead the preparation of structured data analysis and insights, often in ambiguous and timesensitive circumstances, and be able to summarize key insights into a coherent, concise executive communication.
  • Collaborate with partners in Data & Analytics teams across Wealth, Marketing, and Phone Channel to interpret and understand complex business issues and develop innovative datadriven insights and solutions.
  • Build authoritative understanding of DI business results and underlying drivers based on client segments across multiple dimensions such as demographic, relationship, geographic, platform, and behavioral traits.
  • Lead the development, execution, and control of business KPI analysis and reporting, campaign fulfillment, and nonstandard pricing processes
  • Enhance the team's data capability through the acquisition of novel datasets, construction of new data marts, and knowledgesharing with colleagues.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement (through process improvements, automation, improved documentation, etc.)

Requirements:


  • Knowledge of the wealth management industry in Canada and/or the US, ideally with familiarity or handson experience with selfdirected investing platforms
  • Postsecondary undergraduate degree, preferably with analytics, mathematics, business/accounting, engineering, or computer science focus
  • Postundergrad work experience in business/product roles, finance/accounting, and/or analytics/data science
  • Experience with data extraction, manipulation, and visualization tools (e.g. SQL, Python, Alteryx, Tableau) preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including experience developing business documents and executive presentations with clear, compelling communications
  • Ability to understand business questions and issues, think strategically, synthesize information quickly
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Comfortable in operating in a dynamic, fastpaced, and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Ability to independently manage deadlines while multitasking between different projects
