The Bell ICN (Internal Communication Network) team is looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager who will play a key role in implementing transformational internal corporate projects and process improvement initiatives.

As a Project Manager, you will be the liaison between the business and the technical teams supporting the Bell ICN that is used by all of Bell Canada's employees.


Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the ICN PM team, the Project Manager's primary responsibilities include:

  • Oversee project activities and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the agreed upon deliverables as documented in the project plan, timeline and budget.
  • Collaborate and communicate with project stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Possess a continuous improvement and quality mindset along with a desire to continuously seek and incorporate best practices and technologies to optimize project delivery.
  • Ensure delivery best practices and overall project health.
  • Follow Governance process to document and track project scope, time and budget.
  • Determine resource and manage budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines of completion.
  • Identify project risks and develops and implements mitigation and contingency plans; comply with all regulatory, environmental and health and safety requirements.
  • Prepare and present project status at the working team, Director, and Executive levels.
  • Ensure efficient and timely management of necessary project implementation changes.
  • Ensure delivery best practices and overall project health.
Support and guide all parties involved within a program to embrace effective governance throughout the life cycle of projects

  • Influence, persuade and negotiate to achieve desired outcomes
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships, expectations, and satisfaction with vendors and clients

Key Competencies:


  • Project Management experience in managing all aspects of projects including budget and timeline management, scope management, estimating and managing project resources, risk management, issues management, timely decision making, critical path identification, business transformation, etc.
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills to clearly express and communicate concepts, designs and proposals. Ability to communicate highly complex matters and adapt to the target audience and forum
  • Ability to develop and forecast project budgets
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills and the ability to influence and gain stakeholder alignment
  • Strong influencing, negotiation and risk management skills
  • Strong aptitude to recognize opportunities for improvement and take appropriate action
  • Flexible to work under pressure and meet deadlines, displays high sense of urgency and able to time manage / prioritize work under aggressive timeline
  • Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills to clearly express and communicate concepts, designs and proposals. Ability to communicate highly complex matters and adapt to the target audience and forum

Critical Competencies:


  • PMP certification is desirable but not mandatory
  • 35 years of project management experience
  • Strong analytical thinker with excellent creative problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to successfully manage projects and deliverables endtoend, lasting 3 to 12 months in duration
  • Practical experience in process improvement initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exposure and understanding of various systems and architecture
  • Strong understanding and experience with change management principles
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Project Finance, Budget (Knowledge of SAP) and Governance Processes (PEATS/IPC/ICEC)
  • Project Management Certifications and or work experience equivalents
