Position Summary:

Responsibilities

Read, interpret and maintain drawings and specifications.
Install structured cable components. (Cat 5E, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Fiber Optic)
Installation and testing of communication circuits via available communications cabling network.
Service, maintenance and troubleshooting on commercial and/or industrial communication circuits and/or

- cabling networks.

Repair, replace faulty components if necessary
Repair and adjust valves, piping connections, fittings, and couplings.
Able to read and interpret telecommunication drawings and specification
Represent the company face to face with the customer directly requesting the work when needed.
Good customer service skills.

Qualifications

Minimum 1year experience pulling, terminating, and testing cat5/6 cables
Valid Ontario "G" driver's license with clear driver's abstract.
Professional, trustworthy, and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
Flexible to work various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends, if needed
Available to work 40 hours per week, with the potential for overtime hours, if needed
Ability to lift 50lbs and carry, climb and work from a ladder
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and to handle calmly and efficiently situations ranging from routine to emergency.
Ability to work both independently.
Must be bondable and able to pass a background check
Working at Heights and Fall Arrest Certification is an asset
