TMX Datalinx falls under the Global Solutions, Insights & Analytics business line. Trading activity on TSX, TSXV, Alpha and MX generates a stream of real-time data reflecting orders and executed transactions. This stream of data is supplemented with value-added content (e.g. dividends, earnings) and packaged by TMX Datalinx, our information services division, into real-time and historical data and analytics products and delivered to end users directly or via Canadian and global redistributors. This line of business generates ~200M revenue annually and is viewed as a critical enabler for the overall growth of TMX, is headquartered in Toronto, with sales offices in London, New York and Chicago

Key accountabilities:

Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects by conducting research to find new leads
Data mining from multiple sources to build actionable lead lists to be used in prospecting
Implement A:B testing with different outreach techniques to uncover insights into most effective practices and use a datadriven approach to analyze outreach techniques
Analyze competitor communication techniques to advise and provide recommendations to marketing team
Assist with demo's, presentations, video recordings and other content development
Assist with creation of marketing collateral (videos, how to's, and blog articles)

Must haves:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
Curiosity about financial markets, tools and data
Passion for leveraging and interpreting data to drive significant business impact
Critical thinking skills to recognize patterns and anomalies in data and arrive at new conclusions based upon findings
Attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize projects with conflicting deadlines
Individual with strong verbal and written communication skills who can transform raw data into actionable insights
A team player with the ability and desire to collaborate optimally with stakeholders
Intermediate level of proficiency of Excel effective implementation of data visualization techniques

Nice to haves:

Experience working in a data driven digital sales & marketing environment
Familiarity with Salesforce

Working environment:

Hybrid model 2 days in office (Downtown Toronto)
