Description

Reporting directly to the Records and Transfer Coordinator, the Enrolment and Transfer Assistant is responsible for providing administrative, and clerical support to the Enrolment Management team in the Office of the Registrar.

This includes supporting the Admissions, Records, Recognition of Prior Learning, Articulation and Transfer Units with a variety of administrative tasks throughout the academic cycle.

The Assistant is accountable for the maintenance of various databases, such as Academic Tools, Tool Kit, Service Now, Alberta Council on Admission and Transfer (ACAT), etc.

The Assistant is also responsible for fulfilling transcripts and parchment requests and managing all incoming mail.


NOTE:
This position offers partial work-from-home flexibility, with some on-campus work required.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Answer inquiries through Service Now, Jabber, and phone
  • Maintain student records
  • Prepare and distribute student records materials (ie transcripts, parchments)
  • Monitor articulations inbox and fulfill course outline requests
  • Database maintenance
  • Assist with the maintenance and updates of transfer agreements
  • Ensure that all Records, Admissions, and RPLrelated forms are uptodate on the shared drive, staff intranet, and
  • Provide administrative support to Admissions and Records and Transfer coordinators

Skills & Abilities:


  • Computer and office skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint programs, Webbased meeting platforms as well as the ability to learn new software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with contacts internal and external to NAIT
  • An ability to work cooperatively in a fast team setting; organizational skills and a customerservice focus.
  • Experience working with Campus Solutions and/or MyCreds software would be a significant asset

Qualifications:


  • Completion of Grade twelve
  • Related postsecondary certificate or diploma
  • Minimum two years of office experience. Previous experience in a Registrar's Office working with a student information database (i.e. PeopleSoft) is preferred
  • Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience

Remuneration:
$44, $57,140.72 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification - Administrative Support IV).

  • This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement._
