Position:
Early Childhood Educator
Description: Early Childhood Educators work in a dynamic team environment.

They work with children between the ages of 0 -5 to provide a caring and stimulating environment which promotes intellectual, physical and emotional growth.

At BACI Early Childhood Educators ensure inclusion for all the children at the centre as they plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for the children.

The successful applicant will be required to have a Criminal Record Search and Driver's License Search completed and reviewed by the Executive Director.

**Roles & Responsibilities:

Education & Qualifications:

Early Childhood Education and Infant Toddler Certificate required, Special Needs Certificate preferred
First Aid, CPR, and TB test clearance required
Immunizations need to be up to date

Knowledge & Skills:

Practical experience working with children requiring additional support in inclusive settings
Practical experience working with children 05 years
Understanding and commitment to the principles of inclusion
Ability to develop rapport with families and children including respectful and nonjudgmental interactions
Good written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work with families, professionals and staff
Ability to understand and follow procedure
Computer skills required.

Salary:
$ $25.50 (Including wage enhancement)
Hours:37.5
hours/ weekSchedule: Monday-Friday as per schedule
