Reporting to the Manager Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, this IAM Security Analyst will have the primary responsibility of processing user access requests throughout the Identity lifecycle including onboarding, cross boarding and offboarding.

The scope of responsibility in this area will include permanent and temporary internal identities, contract employees, vendor/third party and privileged identities.


What you'll do:


  • Aligns IAM standards with daily processes to provide excellent end user experience by granting access to resources and services while enforcing least privileged practices
  • Running both scheduled and adhoc access certification campaigns for various systems
  • Applies preventative measures to defend against unauthorized access to systems, network and data
  • Resolve incidents related to user access within service levels
  • Collaborates with Senior IAM Security Analyst Supports RBAC implementation and maintenance of roles
  • Administers access based on role requirements and approval process
  • Regularly assess effectiveness of team's services as it pertains to least privileged principles
  • Adheres to documented procedures
  • Identifies potential risks in daily activities and proposes remediation steps
  • Reliably escalate those incidents that are of a higher than routine risk and technical complexity.
  • Analyses incidents to determine cause in order to identify potential technical solutions. Incidents range from routine to complex and more technical.
  • Assigns security incidents that cannot be directly resolved to the responsible team with the appropriate access and authority.
  • Corrects errors causing security incidents and records action taken to resolve/correct the situation, often involving complex technical and security issues

Who you are:


  • A degree or equivalent education in a related discipline such as Computer Science, Business Computing, Engineering, or Commerce. Security certification will be an asset as well
  • Proven experience working within tools such as IBM ITIM, SailPoint, CyberArk
  • Knowledge of Active Directory Organizational Units, groups and user attributes
  • Basic understanding of authentication protocols such as LDAP and SAML
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Java, PowerShell, Python scripting
  • Thrives on challenges in a fluid environment and takes initiative to learn new technologies
  • Collaborates in the development of processes and procedures when implementing changes
  • Perform secondlevel analysis and investigation of security access incidents, requiring a sound understanding of the supporting technologies.
  • Attention to detail and effective planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Demonstrated initiative (selfstarter) with the ability to influence others
  • Good working knowledge of ITIL practices and processes
  • Strong desire to implement change and make a contribution to the organization
