**We are currently looking for an
Aftersales Readiness Manager at our Corporate Offices in Ajax, ON**Under the direction of the Sr. Director, Technical Services, Group Academy & After Sales Readiness, you take the leading role on all identified Group Aftersales Readiness topics and projects. This will include the administration, coordination and project management aspects, for the development and delivery of the topics / projects.


This is a hybrid flex model, based out of Ajax, ON

Responsibilities:


  • VGCA lead for the Aftersales Readiness, including AS, budgets & compliance.
  • Aftersales Readiness: Ensure Aftersales readiness planning and checks for market launches of new products in line with brand's methodology.
  • Standard Management: End 2 End responsibility for implementation of standard management based on brand's legal framework.
  • Dealer Quality: Prepare improvement programs to support dealer quality
  • Service Core Process: Support brand discussions and implementation of Service Core Process
  • Ensures the projects objectives are aligned with strategic objectives using business cases, project submissions and/or other supporting documentation.
  • Establish and manage the required project budget and all necessary approvals and VGCA compliance
  • Establish and execute the required contractual agreements with the required project or supply vendors
  • Planning for projects using gap analysis, requirements gathering and other scoping exercises as well as preparing time and budget estimations, risk mitigation plans and other preliminary project planning activities.
  • Executes projects using the project delivery process and be consistent with project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develops project resource strategies, tools, and specialized support necessary to maintain project momentum, control project constraints (scope, schedule, costs, quality) and reach project milestones.
  • Manage communication to team and key stakeholders and ensure changes/impacts to the project status, timeline, cost and risk is communicated in a timely manner.

Ensure project schedules, delays, issues, risks and changes to projects are recorded in the project management system for future reporting.


  • Fosters and maintains positive rapport and good relationships with multiple business units and team members.
  • Develop project plan for productspecific projects using standard templates and update as needed in collaboration with Project Owner, team members and other stakeholders.
  • Work with project team members to ensure timely completion of tasks as per the project schedule.
  • Work closely with functional area managers to resolve schedule conflicts for team members and shared resources.
  • Ensure project status report and templates are maintained up to date and accurate and circulated to stakeholders on agreed upon schedule.
  • Investigate and escalate project issues as required to ensure issues are effectively resolved to minimize impact to project timeline.
  • Develop risk management plan at project initiation and maintain throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prioritize and manage own workload and the workload of project team members in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines.

Contracts & Vendor Management

  • To be a liaison with Vendors/suppliers to Volkswagen Group Canada [VGCA]. This role will ensure that the service levels are being met by our chosen vendor and act as the liaison between the Brand/s and the vendor.
  • Timely contract review and execution
  • Support the VGCA purchasing process for vendor selection, onboarding and vendor management.
  • Responsible for the budget and invoice review / submission and payments
  • Responsible for Invoice / Purchase Order tracking
  • Schedule biweekly/monthly/quarterly reviews as required. Action plans as required.
  • Ensure that KPIs [Brand/Vendor] are met (if applicable)
  • Where applicable, support, validate & approve the on boarding process of vendor employees [access to VGCA IT / security]
  • Submit and review change request proposal from the vendor
  • Report issues/successes to the brand owners as required
  • Main point of contact for vendor contract/KPI topics.
  • Seek regular feedback from both Brands

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business / Project Management or related field
