Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together
As part of the team, you are responsible for providing the highest possible standards of client service and satisfaction.

As the initial contact person for new inquiries and patients, you will be the voice and face of the company in many instances.

Always pleasant and courteous, you will prioritize answering calls and requests appropriately and efficiently by directing callers, responding to inquiries, meeting and greeting clients, assisting prospective and new clients with their questions about the Centre's services - all while maintaining complete client confidentiality.


Here's how

  • Greet clients and visitors in a polished, professional and courteous manner
  • Understand the programs and services of TELUS Mental Health Clinic to provide clients and callers with appropriate information or to best be able to direct their call
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, staff, suppliers and other healthcare providers in the community
  • Review of client/patient charts for accuracy and completeness ensuring patient files are complete for that day's appointments
  • Ensure all appointments are running on time and otherwise provide transparency to the client or clinician
  • Receive payments from clients, record and update financial information in the system; basic accounting tasks
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies, place orders and confirm receipt of supplies
  • Protect clients' privacy by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
  • Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting required changes
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic activities

Qualifications:


You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Healthcare and/or Hospitality background with a distinct Client Service understanding
  • Healthcare experience, and medical terminology greatly preferred
  • Good knowledge of Word, although more extensive computer knowledge is and asset as well as 45 words per minute typing speed
  • Exceptional organizational and customer service skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision but within the guidelines of the position

Must be fluent in both French and English in order to deliver services in our clients' preferred language:

  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to handle and communicate effectively with challenging clients
