About Potash


BHP's Jansen Potash Project, located approximately 140 km east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is BHP's first and most advanced potash project.

Jansen will add diversity and a Canadian presence to BHP's global portfolio. Jansen's large resource endowment provides the opportunity to develop it in stages, with anticipated initial capacity of 4.35 Mtpa. The BHP Board has recently sanctioned Jansen Project (Stage 1), with a US $5.7 billion investment. The project is now entering the construction phase, with the first potash expected in 2027.


Purpose:


The Specialist Work Management Planning (Business Process Data Coach) will be responsible for developing and implementing training and coaching strategies to help contractors, and BHP employees use the BHP Global Work management systems and processes systems effectively.

They will provide help and guidance regarding any system and or process issues that may arise.

They will also work closely with the Superintendent Reliability and Planning to maintain system and process integrity for both the Surface and the Underground workers to avoid any maintenance material risk.


About the Role:


In this role, you will:

  • Train and coach BHP, HBJV, and all service contractors in the use and maintenance of the BHP Global Work Management system and processes
  • Identify and resolve any issues for stakeholders using the system and processes
  • Support critical control requirements/training schedule for both surface and underground related to maintenance material risks
  • Keep track of all onboarding and offboarding boarding data Work Management users
  • Ensure that stakeholders are adhering to and exhibiting Jansen core values
  • Provide feedback to managers and analysis & improvement (A&I) on functional capability gaps identified through coaching
  • Take a structured approach to setting up the training curriculum, and ensure that users are trained regularly in order to competently operate within the Work Management system
  • Hold accountability for material risk and critical control ownership

Work Location:


This role will be based at the Jansen Mine Site located in Leroy, SK with a rotational work schedule of 7 days on/7 days off.

As this role is not eligible for accommodation in the site camp, the incumbent must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Jansen site.

BHP offers domestic relocation assistance to support the successful incumbent in transitioning, if required.

About You:


  • Post secondarydegree or diploma in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Relevant experience in supporting the SAP Fiori/Work Management system and processes
  • Technical aptitude for operating Power BI
  • Good understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts and Lean Performance Improvement practices
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and schedules; able to operate effectively and work under pressure in a fastpaced environment utilizing agile methodologies
  • High attention to detail, motivation, and commitment to quality outcomes, with a demonstrated ability to learn and quickly comprehend new concepts and technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders including functional managers and discipline leads on the project, clients, outside vendors and contractors
  • Proficient with setting up and training Work Management users on various devices such as iPads
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, including Project and Excel
