Innovation and Initiatives Display Manager, Commercial Operations


Our mission is to provide leadership and oversight of key business processes and infrastructure supporting Consumer Health to enable efficiency and growth.

We lead strategic projects for CH Canada which include topics such as Innovation Pipeline, Sustainability, Regional Harmonization, M&A, Cost Efficiency, Digital Transformation, and/or others as needed.

What you will do:

Enable the delivery of a best-in-class innovation pipeline by leading the Innovation and Initiatives (I&I) process.

Connect shoppers to our brands at retail with a customer centric approach by managing the creation and execution of profitable, innovative, and sustainable display solutions that drive business growth.


Innovation & Initiatives (I&I):


  • Lead crossfunctional monthly meetings by category/brand to ensure visibility and support of the longterm innovation pipeline (StraCo). Responsible for Canadian Innovation Pipeline tracker
  • Participate in the regional I&I meetings. Keep abreast of regional innovations for consideration in Canada
  • Provide guidance to the Commercial Innovation Lead on the key project milestones and activities required for gate approval in the I&I Governance Process.
  • Lead the monthly I&I meeting: Define the agenda based on the I&I tracker and ensure prereads are delivered to the I&I committee on time, follow up on actions.
  • Accountable for the Innovation project creation and approval tracking in the LPPM system to support NPD/other project launch timelines.
  • Lead Annual planning (IN/OUT) of new products and merchandising from initiation to Sales planning. Support and track NPI set up in local systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the innovation pipeline and scorecard for Straco, including insights at brand level and total portfolio (once a year). Provide scorecard updates (midyear and end of year)
  • Supports assessment and feasibility of new gotomarket initiatives

Promotional Display:


  • Lead the execution of merchandising strategies that increase brand image and sell through delivering profitability and cost efficiencies (COGs)
  • Vendor management: support sustainable creative design, graphics, and display production. Manage vendor costs and sustainability compliance to ensure alignment with the Master services agreement
  • Review and validate cost quotations from external copackers
  • Develop project timelines, monitor, and communicate project status of merchandising activities
  • Budget Management: Provide Brands/Category annual budget requirements, track forecast against actual spend and report details
  • Manage merchandising display excess inventory and report to the business. Provide recommendations and solutions to mitigate risk
  • Prepare and maintain a merchandising catalogue as a Sales tool

Who you are:


  • 4yr BA degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in packaged goods/OTC/Healthcare industry with an understanding of innovation development, packaging and display development/design, supply chain/operations, and marketing
  • 5+ years of experience managing visual merchandising projects in OTC or CPG
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership/facilitation, decisionmaking, project management, analytical skills, negotiating and conflictmanagement skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
