Your Role:
Finance Analyst


The
Finance Analyst holds an important role within the Finance team, helping and learning about different processes within the area such as financial reporting, controls, and compliance.

The scope of this role includes support in follow up action plans of key accounting processes (O2C, S2P, R2R).


The Finance Analyst will also support rebate execution operations within the Affiliate by leading process documentation of key rebates calculations guided by rebates specialist and understanding and follow up liaison between rebates calculation and accounting entries.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Support development of awareness of all applicable financial/taxation standards, process documentation & training materials to ensure compliant execution of daily operations.
  • Support reporting and follow up for Tax Authority audits and FS audits for the Canada Affiliate, as well as help in maintain focus on audit outcomes.
  • Preparing assigned GL reconciliation with proper support and action plan for aged items and prepare executive analysis of GL reconciliations prepared by global shared services team.
  • Follow up tax compliance filling dates and summary of tax plans and tax variation explanations along with tax advisors.
  • Prepare monthly draft financial reports for variance analysis, and organize monthly followup cash earnings indicators.
  • Prepare monthly followup to rebate payments, followup to rebate payments, support rebates process documentation, organize executive information related to rebate calculation and payments, and followup action plan related to rebate payment improvement opportunities.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in related field
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant Finance experience

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
  • Accounting and tax experience in Multinational Companies
  • Knowledge of US GAAP

Additional Information:


  • Must be able to work from our Mississauga office and from home office


The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $82,000 which will be determined based on relevant experience and education.
