Family School Liaison Worker

Clearview Public Schools is looking for a dedicated, energetic and caring individual to fill a Family School Liaison Worker position. This position is scheduled for 7 hours per day on Mondays through Fridays. This position commences August 30, 2023. This position is working directly with students and families in Stettler Elementary School.
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and innovative individual who can foster positive and productive relationships with students, families and staff.

Specifically, we are seeking an exceptional individual who possesses:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a record of fostering collaborative team relationships with school staff as well as community agencies to support the learning needs of students;
Detailed program planning and high level organizational skills with a commitment to the ongoing learning of researchedinformed student supports;
Strong initiative and can work independently while also demonstrating flexibility and adaptability; and
A deep understanding of socioemotional learning (SEL) needs of students and experience supporting these needs individually and in small group settings.

A diploma in Social Work or related field is required but a Bachelor of Social Work is preferred. Experience working with youth and knowledge of SEL competencies is preferred.
